New AMC 300TDI cylinder head complete with new valves and springs assembled suitable for all Land Rover 300TDI Defender, Discovery and Range Rover engines including where the bottom end has been converted to the 2.8 crankshaft/conrods/pistons.
NEW AMC Spanish replacement cylinder head of OEM quality fitted with stainless steel core plugs

Gasflowed inlet and exhaust ports performance cylinder head.
Benefits - Better volumetric efficiency. 8 -10 BHP increase. Some customers claim a fuel saving of approximately 2mpg. Smoother running especially at higher rpm. Better low to midspeed pulling.
How to check which head gasket type is fitted to your engine:
As you stand in front of the vehicle facing the engine, on the right hand side where the head meets the block behind the front timing cover a piece of head gasket sticks out which will show either 1, 2 or 3 little holes.
Suitable for all 300TID Land Rover Defender, Discovery and Range Rovers.

Ordered a head for delivery to Australia, had it on my doorstep in under 10 days. Great service from Turners. Be aware that import duties are about $300. For peace of mind order a Turners head for a bit more money and a few extra days delivery.

Installed head into land rover 101; what a difference to the drive, cruising comfortably at 60, would have gone faster, but we are running on drum brakes. She even holds her speed on hills. The old head struggled at 50, and had no torque on hills. Many thanks

I recently upgraded the cylinder head on my 300TDI to the high performance LDF500180 from Turner Engineering. Their service was fantastic and I received the new head within a couple of days. I've only done a few hundred miles since fitting it but the engine feels smoother and seems to pull better than it did before. This is most noticeable when accelerating from lower revs and makes the truck feel much more driveable. Too early to tell if it saves any fuel but if it does that would be a nice bonus.
