AMR3321 - AMR1425
Resistance Curve: Both sensors may show similar resistance at certain baseline temperatures (like 100°C), but they have different response curves and temperature dependencies. AMR3321 has a steeper temperature response curve compared to AMR1425.
Gauge Compatibility: They are matched to specific instrument cluster gauges. Mixing them up (for example, putting a green sensor on a gauge meant for a black sensor) causes inaccurate, erratic, or maxed-out temperature readings on the dashboard.
Vehicle Application:
- AMR3321: Traditionally used for Land Rover Defender 300TDi models with matching gauges.
- AMR1425: Commonly used for Discovery 1, Range Rover Classic, and certain late or alternative gauge setups
