Installed the head and the engine sounds like relived. Even the black smoke puff when accelerating from idle without turbo boost disappeared. I am very happy that I have purchased a quality item from Turner.

I had been looking at these gas flowed 300tdi heads for a few years so when my head gasket went, I finally bought one. I struggled to find any review that mentioned real world experience of the performance upgrade so here are my thoughts. There is a noticeable change in the effort required pulling up hills and it does genuinely feel like a performance upgrade. My VNT turbo and intercooler mods on their own were like a night and day change, the cylinder head isn’t as dramatic. 100% happy though.

The AMC branded packaging is quite substantial and includes internal plastic foam protection within the box for reasonable eventualities in normal handling. A bright orange label is attached to the box to advise the receiver to check for any damage before signing received in good condition.
You stated the box was "not significantly damaged" in your correspondence, The cylinderhead sustained very minor damage to one corner which was easily rectifiable and would not affect fit, function or purpose.
